About Best Builders: New Home Builders

Hi, I'm Greg Best of Best Builders

As a proud graduate of Kansas State University, I received my Bachelors of Construction Science in the School of Engineering. I was fortunate enough to play “Wildcat" football in the Big Eight (now the Big Twelve). Upon graduation, I signed as a free agent with the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Cleveland Browns, totaling three years. This experience along with my education galvanized my desire to enter my life’s work. From there, I worked for two major construction companies in the Washington D C area, gaining experience, then I moved back to Beaver Falls, PA. Presently, Best Builders is celebrating its 17th year anniversary. Our office is located in the historic river town of new Brighton PA.

Our goal as your builder is to build you the very best quality home for your money, while making the whole process of building your home as stress free as possible. To do this I have brought together a professional team of architects, engineers, building consultants, construction managers and excellent craftsman to make it all possible.

Best Builders is constantly adjusting its system of construction with checks and balances that will insure efficiency in constructing your home. Creating a custom home requires a relationship of trust and attention to the minutest detail. In order to fulfill the great honor of building someone’s dream home I devote time to being on hand to oversee operations. At this point Best Builders concentrates only in the Tri-State area, Eastern Ohio, Pennsylvania, and most recently West Virginia.

Best Builders has a specialized construction division, enabling them to do light commercial building, ADA compliant homes, and Government HUD project work.

Our goal, as a home builder, is to have the best people and an outstanding work environment. We work as a team at all levels, and we are committed to excellence in everything we do. Levels of management are minimized, and decisions are made at the most appropriate level. Team members are expected to voice their concerns, ideas, and suggestions at all times. We require continuous learning, and we do not sanction incompetence.

Over the years, we have learned to listen to our clients and design our remodeling work around their individual needs and concerns while providing the expertise and professionalism to make their vision a reality.

New Home Communities

The History

Rich in history and traditions, Seven Oaks Country Club epitomizes beauty. Secluded in a natural setting, its Clubhouse was once the setting for Colonel Henry Bouquet as he and his troops camped in 1764 after turning the tide of the French and Indian war toward the British side with the capture of Fort Duquesne. An engineer in the expedition took note of the "luxuriant grass and fine drinking water in the branching stream that refreshed the animals" and drew a scale diagram. In 1778, the site was a point of rest and refuge for Colonial General Lachlan McIntosh and his troops during the American Revolutionary War, Seven Oaks Country Club is situated on 740 acres in Ohioville, Brighton Township and South Beaver. It is only a 25 minute drive from Pittsburgh International Airport taking route 60 North to the Brighton Exit. The Clubhouse has two ballrooms for receptions and private parties, one accommodating up to 100 and the newly decorated main ballroom accommodating up to 300 guests.

18-Hole Championship Golf Course

Today, a golf and country club par excellence, Seven Oaks Country Club opened in 1978. Seven Oaks has matured into one of the most challenging golf courses in Western Pennsylvania tying this year for third place with Laurel Valley Country Club. Skillfully designed and crafted by Hassenplug Associates, the 18-hole championship golf course integrates the natural landscape to feature rolling hills winding through stately oaks. Tree lined fairways, streams, lakes and open spaces delight golfers of all skill levels. Corporate golf outings and tournaments welcome. A practice driving range and putting green, as well as a full service Pro Shop to round out the golf amenities.

Community Involvement

Best Builders & General Contractors believes it is important to give back to the community, and we are proud to support and actively participate in programs that provide assistance to those who need it most.

Best Builders has partnered with the Tiger Pause Youth Ministry group to work with. We have also worked for Habitat for Humanity.
